Jane Pickens Theater tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a charming spot to catch a film or a concert? The Jane Pickens Theater in Newport, Rhode Island, is just the place. With its cozy seating for about 300, it offers an intimate vibe that’s perfect whether you're settling in for a classic film night or catching a live performance. I remember catching the documentary Won’t You Be My Neighbor? there in 2017, and honestly, it felt like being part of something special, like the audience was right there with Mr. Rogers. The theater still sports its vintage charm with a historic projection booth and old-school film equipment, making it a haven for cinephiles who love the feel of true classic cinema. Plus, the mezzanine seats give you a killer view of the whole screen, which is great if you want to soak in every detail. Reserving your spot is easy thanks to their interactive seating chart, so no worries about scrambling for a good seat last minute. If you're heading from the Newport Bridge, just stick to the main route and follow the signs. Honestly, whether you're there to enjoy a live concert with local stars or international icons like Judy Collins, or just want to relax with a flick, Jane Pickens Theater has a vibe that keeps you coming back. It’s one of those places where you can create some pretty awesome memories, no matter what you're into.
